Brittany Jerry is the newest addition to PCA Georgia, joining as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA). She is in her second year of the Georgia State University Master of Public Health program with a concentration in the Health Promotion and Behavior program. Jerry will soon be a double alumna, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from GSU.
Jerry is passionate about merging the power of words with the principles of public health to create impactful change.
Her commitment to social justice and desire to increase health equity has led her to the realm of public health; by blending a background in journalism with her current pursuit of a master’s in public health, she is driven to dismantle barriers to health equity through clear, accessible, and culturally sensitive messaging. She aims to empower marginalized communities with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions, fostering a healthier and more equitable world for all.
Outside of her academic pursuits, she is a self-proclaimed boba tea connoisseur. She loves playing cozy games, reading graphic novels, traveling with her fiancée, Amy, and playing with her two dogs, Tucker and Brandy.
